Will AgriMarketing pay for a website or a brand refresh?

Not eligible

Not as a general improvement. The program names untargeted websites as its own example of what is out.

Generic promotions that do not target specific markets are ineligible, and the program offers websites and promotional materials not tailored to specific markets as the example.

A corporate site rebuild, a brand refresh, or a sales deck usable anywhere is that, however badly the business needs it.

The same money spent on material aimed explicitly at one named destination, and justified by research about that destination, is a different proposition and can qualify. The test is not the medium. It is whether the work targets a specific market.

This does not answer CanExport

CanExport SMEs is the other federal program exporters ask about, and it is not covered here. Its rules live on a Government of Canada host that refuses requests from our infrastructure.

Every answer we gave would come from memory rather than from a page we opened and dated.

That is a worse outcome than an absence.

A funding answer is acted on by somebody about to commit money, and the two programs differ on cost share, on who is eligible and on what counts as a fundable activity.

We would rather tell you the gap exists.
