Sauces & Condiments

Sauces are a formulation trade and the compliance load is heavy relative to shipment value: ingredient declarations, additives, allergens, claims and usually a product registration. Plan the registration and labelling before a production run, because either can force a reformulation or a repack.

Maple-based sauces are the distinctive Canadian offer here and travel on the origin story. Table condiments compete on formulation and price against local manufacture, which is a harder position.

Shelf life is the technical item to settle early. A stability profile validated in temperate storage does not transfer to a tropical warehouse, and destination retailers will ask how it was established. Substantiate it under destination conditions rather than Canadian ones.
