Alcoholic Beverages
Alcoholic beverages are a different regulatory trade from everything else on this site. Destination import controls, licensing and in several markets a state or monopoly distribution structure determine who you may sell to at all. Confirm the licensing route before planning a launch: it can invalidate a commercial plan entirely.
Icewine is the distinctive Canadian product and a regulated category rather than a style claim: the grapes must freeze naturally on the vine. It sells predominantly as a gift product in Asia, which makes presentation and seasonal timing commercially decisive.
Canadian whisky is an established international category with its own definition. Craft beer faces freshness and cold-chain constraints that limit the practical shipping radius and favour higher-alcohol, more stable styles.
