The ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement
An ASEAN-wide agreement would change the duty position on this route in one move, replacing six separate tariff conversations with one framework. It would not change the rest of what this site covers: registration routes, who may hold a licence, halal certification and labelling are set by each member state and survive any trade agreement.
So the practical planning advice is unchanged. An agreement moves landed cost; it does not move your market-entry timeline, because the timeline is set by registration and certification rather than by duty.
